Deep like the ocean blue

Dark as auburn hue

Clear as water beneath

Reflects the shades of rainbow light.

They show delight when you smile,

The sadness of your silent cries,

Dull at times, Lively sometimes

Just like a child's cry.

Sheer they express,

The emotions you hide,

Of truth,

Of betrayal, 

Of love,

And of peace, like the summer's sky.

Intriguing to my mind,

Beautiful to my heart

Hopeful to my belief,

How can I resist,

The honesty of that deep abyss.
