Dhurandhar - What a Banger!!!

What a fantabulous Movie, it was!!!

Never gonna forget the Aura Akshaye Khanna served in the movie. The man gives Keanu Reeves vibe in that black coat. 🍿

I'm not a big fan of gore, violence or action but if the story is gripping, I do end up watching it. (Okay, I close my eyes during such sequences)

A big thanks to Renuka for all the snacks she bought for this 3hr 34 minutes.

The movie starts somewhere in 1999 showing Kandahar hijack. Then, 2001 parliament attack and then we enter Lyari Town in Karachi, which is gripped by gang wars.

Indian Intelligence sends a spy to infiltrate one such gang. Not much is known about the spy, except that he had a sad past, that's all I learnt through the flashbacks.

Our spy decides to infiltrate Rehman Dekait gang because he is also a baloch, just like the gang lord Rehman Dekait Baloch. So it makes sense to join a tribe you know of.

A lot of infighting between the gangs, between gangs, politican and police. By the time we reach the sequence where they show 26/11 parliament attacks, the movie has all my attention. The real recordings were bone chilling. I just hope nobody ever has to go through such an ordeal.

There is also a cute love story which perfectly fits amidst everything that's happening in the movie. I just feel I can watch again in the theatre.

The music had me craving for more, the way they used old songs in the background, if you love OG Bollywood songs like Dam Maaro Dum, then it's a treat to the eyes.

Eagerly waiting for part 2.

Maybe when I'm 60, suffering from Alzheimer's and on my death bed, I would definitely like to revisit this movie.
